A fundamental study on Comparative Genre Theory of Modern Okinawa literature

本研究的目的是：(1)建立1883年（明治16年）“琉球昭文年”之后冲绳知识分子的俳句与短曲资料库；(2)利用上述资料库与我们已建立的1995 ~ 1996年的传统与现代琉球资料库，对俳句、短曲、传统琉球与现代琉球进行比较研究；(3)将我们的资料库资料与明治以前的琉球资料库资料进行比较。我们收集了明治和大正时期冲绳每日新闻和琉球新报发表的短歌、俳句、kanshi和其他诗歌。对于数据库，我们根据(1)上下文，(2)作者，(3)机构，(4)诗歌标题，(5)同时/给定主题，(6)选择者/评价者，(7)评价，(8)会议数据，(9)报纸，（10）发行数据，（11）发行号，（12）专栏标题，（13）其他信息制作索引。我们仔细研究了我们的数据，并将它们整理出来供发表。我们的成就之一是出版了《现代琉球的基础研究》（见下面的参考文献）。在数据库方面，唐卡的数据库正在出版中，kanshi的数据库正处于最后修订阶段。此外，我们收集了小说等其他文学作品的信息，但尚未建立数据库。这将是我们未来的项目。

The purposes of this study are (i) establish a database on haiku and tanka composed by Okinawan intellectuals after 1883(Meiji 16)-the year of "Ryukyu shobun'', (ii) conduct a comparative study of haiku, tanka, traditional ryuka, and modern ryuka by using the database mentioned above and another database on traditional ryuka and modern ryuka which we have already establishcd during 1995〜1996, and (iii) compare our database data with those which were composed earlier than Meiji era.We have gathered tanka, haiku, kanshi, and other poems from Okinawa Mainichi Shinbun and Ryukyu Simpo published during Meiji and Taisho eras. Regarding our database, we made indices according to (1) context, (2) author,(3) institution, (4) title of poems, (5) simultaneous/given theme, (6) selector/evaluator, (7) evalution, (8) data of meeting, (9) newspaper, (10) data of issue, (11) issue number, (12) title of column, and (13) other information.We have carefully looked into our data and organized them for publication. One of our accomplishment is a publication of 'A fundamental study of modern ryuka' (see REFERENCES below). When it comes to database, the database for tanka is now in process of publication, and the database for kanshi, it is at the stage of its final revision. In addition, we have collected information on other literary work such as novels, but have not established a database for them. It is going to be our future project.
