申請者の研究目的は，日本列島における古代国家形成過程を，物質文化の生産・流通から明らかにすることである。特に，古墳時代に政治的目的をもって生産・流通が行われたとされる銅鏡（倭製鏡）を分析の対象とし，物質文化のコントロールによる近畿中央政権の政治戦略・志向性の解明を目的とする。平成27年度は以下の項目を中心に研究を行った。１．小型鏡の生産と流通。昨年度に引き続き重圏文鏡と，新たに珠文鏡を対象に分析を行った。その結果，古墳時代前期の倭製鏡の生産開始が重圏文鏡や珠文鏡のような小型鏡の製作を経て成立・完成したという変遷過程を提示した。この成果は12月に平成27年度九州史学会にて発表した。今後は今回明らかとなった銅鏡生産の成立過程を踏まえ，古墳時代開始期における物質文化のコントロールの成立やその評価から，当時の社会動態を考察していくことを課題とする。２．資料の実見。九州・中四国・関西・関東など全国各地から出土した銅鏡の調査を，熟覧・写真撮影・断面実測を中心に行った。文様が単純な小型鏡において製作技術の肉眼観察は有効な手法であり，遠隔地から出土する小型鏡の技術的共通性を確認することができた。３．関連遺跡の調査。福岡県桂川町所在の天神山古墳の発掘・測量調査に参加した。本古墳の範囲確認や構築方法の解明は，当地域の古代国家形成過程を考えるうえで重要な調査である。倭製鏡の生産・流通は汎列島的な視野が必要であるが，同時にそれが授与された地域社会の状況も重要な課題である。

The applicant's research purpose is: the formation process of the ancient nation of the Japanese archipelago, and the production and circulation of material culture. In 2009, the following projects were carried out by the Research Center. 1. Production and distribution of small mirrors. As a result, the production of Japanese mirrors in the early Kofun period began, and the production of small mirrors such as Jujumon mirrors and beaded mirrors was established and completed. The result was published in December of the 27th Kyushu Historical Society. From now on, the process of establishing the production of bronze mirrors and the material culture of the beginning of the Kofun periodのコントロールの was established as a review project of the social dynamics at that time. 2. Information is available. Survey of bronze mirrors unearthed from all over the country in Kyushu, Nakashikoku, Kansai, Kanto and all over the country, familiar viewing, photo taking, and cross-section measurement are carried out in the center. The technique of making a pure small mirror is based on the naked eye's observation of the effective technique, and the commonality of the technology of small mirrors unearthed from a distance is confirmed. 3. Investigation of related remains. We participated in the excavation and survey of the Tenjinzan Tumulus where Katsuraikawa Town in Fukuoka Prefecture is located. The scope of this tumulus has been confirmed and its construction method has been clarified, and the formation process of the ancient country in the local area has been investigated and investigated. The production and distribution of Japanese mirrors are necessary for the perspective of the pan-island, and at the same time, they are important issues related to the local social situation.
