本研究では、沖縄における「慰安婦」をめぐる記憶のポリティクスを、セクシュアリティ、ジェンダー、エスニシティの複眼的な視点から描くことを通じて、多元的で可変的な権力関係を明らかにすることを目的とした。本年度は、県内にある市民によって建立された「慰安婦」のためのモニュメントに関する事例研究とこれまでの研究を踏まえた理論研究を行った。事例研究で扱ったのは、沖縄県内にある「慰安婦」を追悼・祈念の対象に含めたモニュメント、「アリラン慰霊のモニュメント」（渡嘉敷村1997年建立）、「恨之碑」（読谷村2006年建立）、アリランの碑（宮古島市2008年建立）である。これまで収集したインタビューデータやフィールドワークで得られた分析を行った。この研究結果は、来年度、論文にまとめ投稿予定である。さらに、これまでの研究を踏まえ、沖縄における「慰安婦」をめぐる記憶のポリティクスを捉える理論として、ポストコロニアリズムとフェミニズムの研究成果に着目し、理論的検討を行った。この整理に関しては、2014年6月15日に行われた日本女性学会にて「ポストコロニアリズム×フェミニズムからの沖縄研究再考」と題して報告し、今後の研究に繋がる有益なコメントを得た。さらに、昨年度に引き続き、アウトリーチ活動を積極的に行い、ジェンダーやセクシュアリティに関する講演等を数多くこなし、研究活動で得た知識を分かりやすい形で市民へ還元する場を設けた。具体的には、沖縄におけるセクシュアリティの問題について講演（2014年6月28日、東京、琉球館）、多様性と共生に関する講話（2014年12月12日沖縄、沖縄市内小学校）、第55回　母と女性教職員の会　中央集会の「ジェンダー平等教育」部会にてジェンダーやセクシュアリティに関する助言・提言（2015年1月10日、沖縄、宜野湾市中央公民館）などである。
