Novalia have developed a unique, patented approach to manufacuring very low-cost X/Y capacitive touchpads as interfaces to electronic products. The innovation uses significantly less energy, lower-cost materials with far lower environment impact than current technologies.The Arion project is a feasibility study on how to expand commercial opportunity for Novalia's X/Y technology with product developers & expand production capability in the US & Canada.With many key design/development organisations & brands located in the US & Canada, Arion focuses on these particular countries to engage with some of the worlds most prolific electronic product designers to explore & develop commercial opportunity for Novalia's low-cost touch interface technology. The project will support direct contact with potential key customers/suppliers & collate information that will allow Novalia to prepare a deliverable plan to expand commercial opportunity for the technology with product developers in these regions.This feasibility study will enable Novalia to engage with and build a preliminary pipeline of potential customers.Arion will identify & engage with flexographic printers to expand international production capacity.The project will enable the preparation of supporting documentation to serve as an introduction to Novalia & our technology and to prepare physical printed samples as well as working demonstrators.Arion will facilitate face-to-face meetings with key potential customers & suppliers & will time the team's travel to coincide with CES in January 2022 to enable meeting as many further potential clients during the three day conference.The Arion feasiblity study will deliver a solid understanding of some of the dynamics in manufacturing & supplying sensors to potential customers, deliver a SWOT analysis as well as identifying resources needed and prospects for success in this approach.
