英文摘要
ASEHL Project Summary-Collection SFY2021-25 The Food Safety & Sanitation Program (FSS) proposes to collect ready-to-eat surveillance samples to include testing for pathogenic E. coli, listeria and salmonella. Samples of seafood produced in Alaska will be collected from retail outlets, as well as direct from processors, depending on the availability of the specific types of seafood products being sampled. Samples will be collected throughout the year, approximately 25 per quarter, though the seasonality of some types of products may affect the schedule slightly. Samples will be collected from various geographical areas in Alaska, and will include communities with FSS office locations as well as sites where seafood processors are located. The Food Safety & Sanitation Program (FSS) proposes to collect and submit 250 samples of juice products to the Environmental Health Lab (EHL) for detection of inorganic arsenic. Samples will be collected by trained FSS staff, and handled and transported according to procedures currently in place, which include maintaining sample integrity, aseptic technique and chain of custody, and are in conformance with the manufactured food regulatory program standards (MFRPS.) Samples will be collected throughout the year, approximately 63 per quarter, from various geographical areas across Alaska.
