项目摘要

Project Summary (Administration, Management, and Coordination of the Projects) The New Jersey Department of Agriculture (NJDA) laboratory aims to comply with the applicable NJ State and Federal regulations as well as terms and conditions of the LFFM funding opportunity. The PD/PI will be responsible for planning, directing, and executing the LFFM proposed co-operative agreement in collaboration with the project leads and the FDA staff. The quality officer will coordinate activities to ensure compliance with the ISO 17025 standard. The administrative staff will support the project by performing accounting, clerical, purchasing, and payroll tasks in support of the co-operative agreement. The PD-PI in collaboration with the project leads and the administrative staff will submit mid-year and annual report, financial report, and budget resolution report. The laboratory will submit testing data quarterly through the FERN website. The laboratory will notify the regulatory officials of any positives or cannot rule out samples within one business day and submit data package within 3 business days. The laboratory will investigate problems and deficiencies identified by the FDA in fulfilling the goals of the LFFM projects and implement appropriate solutions to address problems and deficiencies in execution of projects. Overall, the NJDA has appropriate resources for administration, management, and coordination of the LFFM projects. Successful administration, management, and coordination of the LFFM projects will contribute to successful development of integrated laboratory science and food safety in the State of New Jersey and the United States in support of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
