This project aims to assess the current state of treatment for patients with foot related ailments. Currently, costs for medical footwear are extremely high and can take months to deliver to patients, often failing to meet their needs. It can also take multiple footwear fittings causing healthcare providers a significant amount of time and money. Our custom-made footwear can be used as a prevention method against both the progression of foot health conditions as well as for offloading and healing purposes, removing patients from further risk.It is incredibly expensive to validate the effectiveness of current medical devices and gain approval for their usage causing much scepticism among investors to fund early-stage medical applications. This project will offer a clear understanding of the opportunities and challenges involved in the delivery of our innovative custom-made footwear to the healthcare market. We also expect to produce a refined prototype suitable for clinical trials in the future.We have also partnered with Medipex who are dedicated to developing and implementing innovative solutions within the healthcare sector. This partnership will enable us to use their area of expertise to navigate and outline the commercialisation path and route to market.Fyous will be in charge of project management and will implement strategies to further its innovative technology through its product development for the perfect fitting trainer. In conjunction with podiatrist partners, we will also work to improve current footwear to help resolve common foot health issues.
