Quic, which stands for Quality in Care, provides reliable digital tools and software to enable people in receipt of residential care to self-manage long term conditions more effectively and to share data with their wider care team. The system is designed to accommodate support from carers if the person is no longer to achieve this independently. The aim is to reduce the current reliance on input from a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to manage long term conditions and to enable better monitoring on a daily basis, leading to better outcomes and improved quality of life.
