The SoftWare InFrasTructure for High Energy Physics (SWIFT-HEP) was established by STFC in 2020 and encompasses a collaboration among institutes in the UK to develop the software infrastructure needed by the next generation particle physics experiments. A summary of the technical achievements of Phase-1 is provided in reports submitted to STFC in June 2022 and July 2023. The deliverables that we set when writing the proposal in 2020 are being achieved. As common to software projects, some of the deliverables were reshaped to take into account developments both nationally and internationally. This proposal is for a continuation of the work for a further 18 months with a new set of deliverables provided in the attached document. The biggest challenge in the first phase of the project was the recruitment and retention of staff, and a continuation would ensure that the staff recruited can continue to contribute to the international developments.
