英文摘要
Future wireless networks should have the capabilities to fulfil the unprecedented requirements of higher data rates, lower energy consumption and uniform user experience. To meet these demanding requirements, non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) has been identified as one of the key enabling techniques to improve spectral efficiency in the fifth generation (5G) and beyond wireless networks. This project will aim to develop novel resource allocation techniques for NOMA system though jointly utilising spectral-energy efficiencies with user fairness. These techniques will be designed by exploiting multi-objective optimization and cross layer designs. The performance of the proposed techniques will be evaluated through numerical simulations and compared with the existing schemes in the literature.
