In order to answer the stated research questions, the model developed in this project needs to be more flexible and place specific than existing models discussed in the literature review. Therefore, it will be based on a high-resolution land cover grid of the UK. Each cell is equipped with various geospatial layers and relevant attributes like the type of land-use, the grade of the agricultural land, if there are protected areas or nature recovery networks included. Additionally, parameters for the identification of ecosystem services need to be incorporated.
