The research will:1. Identify any risks to agricultural soil function and crop productivity from MPs in BS used under current application and management practices2. Provide a technical basis for optimising field management practices for BS applications to land to reduce potential impacts to soil, water and crops;3. Provide evidence to policy makers, regulatory bodies and the public that the water industry is aware of the potential issue of MP contamination in soil, and is working to determine the extent and management of any risk.
