My primary research question is:What new practices emerge from the conjunction of ecological methodologies of nonfiction film-practice and transformative environmental education?This can be broken down into a further set of questions. The first question defines the hypothesised problem: that contemporary practice and currently planned initiatives are insufficient in form or implementation. The further questions are designed to prompt new practices.1. To what extent do current environmental initiatives in nonfiction film-practice pedagogy challenge extractive methodologies?2. What methodologies are effective and appropriate for designing a non-extractive nonfiction film-practice pedagogy?3. What is the ideal form of nonfiction film-practice education?
