In conclusion, I consider this proposed Ph.D. research to be a valuable contribution topost-stroke anomia treatment, our understanding of what predicts naming therapy outcomesand exploration of the neural mechanisms involved in recovery; potentially leading to morepersonalised treatment plans. For me, it also constitutes a step towards a career in academiaand an opportunity to continue to be involved in aphasia research.
