The goals of the Administrative Core are to provide administrative, fiscal and scientific leadership of the Program Project. The administrative duties will include preparation of progress reports and manuscripts, maintaining proper Human Subject and Vertebrate Animal assurances, personnel issues, and organizing meetings. Fiscal management will include working with the FHCRC Grants and Contract Administration office to disburse funds to the Project and Core Pis, and to the subcontracts, to track budgets and to prepare annual budgets for continuation and renewal grant applications. Scientific management will involve regular meetings of the PI with the executive committee. Monthly meetings of all scientific staff to review progress and present data, and a yearly advisory board meeting that includes our external and internal advisors and all scientific staff.
