Objective: The development of efficient macaque sperm cryopreservation would aid in successful propagation of germplasm through artificial insemination (AI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF) programs. Little is known regarding the fundamental cryobiology and biophysics of nonhuman primate sperm. The main objective of this project is to develop a clear understanding of the fundamental cryobiology of macaque sperm.
