This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. Prof. Dresselhaus¿ research group is focused on the study of individual suspended single wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) using Raman spectroscopy. The tunable Raman Facility supproted by the LBRC is use to such phenomena as the strong dependence of the intermediate mode frequency spectra on the tube (n,m) chirality.
