This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The purpose of the study is to understand how behaviors (such as exercise and changes in posture) and the effects of the body's internal clock affect the control of the heart and blood pressure. The results of this study in healthy individuals might lead to a better understanding of why there is a day/night pattern in the level of risk of problems such as heart attacks.
