The purpose of this study is to determine the relative contribution of renal P-gp to the clearance of dicloxacillin in patients with CF and healthy controls subjects. The renal clearance of dicloxacillin alone and in combination with probenecid (organic anion transport inhibitor), and cyclosporine (an inhibitor of P-gp) will be compared in both groups. The results of this study may provide a potential mechanistic explanation for the altered renal clearance of certain compounds in patients with CF.
