This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. In this cross-sectional clinical research investigators will assess three interrelated areas: 1) enteroinsular axis activity; 2) cardiorespiratory fitness; and 3) autonomic nervous system modulation in a bi-racila sample of 100 adolescents.
