This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. We are undertaking a detailed search for phosphorylation sites of the components of the mammalian nuclear pore complex, with an eye to understanding effects of such phosphorylation on assembly/disassembly of the NPC during the cell cycle.
