DESCRIPTION (provided by applicant): The goal of this multidisciplinary symposium will be to discuss nanomaterials or nanotechnology-enhanced modalities with strong potential for translation into clinical research. Cancer nanotechnology will be a major theme throughout the symposium. The symposium will be divided into three categories: (i) Nanomaterials and surfaces for tissue engineering (ii) Multifunctional nanoparticles for targeted imaging and therapy (theragnostics) (iii) Nanomaterials for drug delivery
