Drs Igor Efimov (CWRU) and Natalia Trayanova (Tulane) have used the rabbit anatomic model grids developed and distributed by NBCR to convert finite element models of ventricular geometry and fiber architecture into high-resolution structured grids for finite difference modeling of cardiac arrhythmia and defibrillation.
