This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The Administrative Core will serve to coordinate all reports to the NIH and other designated officials. As in the past, the core will NOT serve as secretarial support for the members of the COBRE, with the exception of Dr. Capra. Additionally, the core will be involved in scheduling visits by the External Review Committee, keeping up to date with NIH regulations, etc. Also included within this core are the Senior and Junior Mentors for the Project Mentees. These individuals receive no salary from this grant; yet their contributions are significant.
