This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. This protocol was submitted at the request of the GCRC Advisory Committee in connection with the recently submitted protocol #0557. Twenty healthy normal subjects will have blood drawn to run standard curves in the GCRC core lab for assays for several peptides and hormones to be measured in GCRC protocol #0557. The core lab needs to establish a standard curve for this project and for furture GCRC studies.
