The TCDP will provide a coordinated program of training to develop highly skilled cancer communication researchers. We have considerable experience and a demonstrated track record in career development and mentoring, especially among African American scientists-in-training. In addition to our highly successful mentoring component, there are new training seminars available to support manuscript development, CECCR small grant funding opportunities to complement our traditional pilot research funding, as well as access to shared resources and funding opportunities through the Siteman Cancer Center.
