The objectives of this study are to characterize critical features in the natural history of Short Bowel Syndrome (SBS) in children and in particular to assess the presence of small bowel bacterial overgrowth (SBBO), its effect on intestinal permeability and mucosal inflammation while assessing the impact of these factors on enteral nutrition tolerance.
