This collaborative team aims to build on previous research by uncovering novel modulators of RPS14. During the reporting period, the collaborative team worked to identify candidate RPS14 binders using a virtual screening approach. Molecules were tested for RPS14 binding using biophysical approaches and activity was assessed in adenovirus replication assays. At present, the team is pursuing structural studies and designing reagents to further characterize hits and confirm on-target activity, with a view to nominating a lead small molecule modulator of RPS14.
