In modern control engineering, achieving a common group objective with high performance of multiple agent systems is highly demanding, in application areas such as the platooning of vehicles in urban transportation, the operation of multiple robots industry, autonomous underwater vehicles and the formation of aircrafts in military affairs, and the health care services. This RTI (Category I) grant proposes to acquire sensors and robotic platforms for multi-agent systems with the aim to achieve the coordination task.
