The proposed research is efficient resource allocation in wireless networks which builds on the research I have been doing on wireless ad hoc networks. Wireless ad hoc networks lack fixed infrastructure such as base stations. In this type of networks, users are both sources of information as well as participate in relaying the information to the final destination. We have studied important design problems related to two new types of wireless ad hoc networks, wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs).
