英文摘要
The natural phenomena simulation group at the University of Waterloo has established an internationally respected research program focused on the predictive modeling of material appearance. This research program requires measured spectral data (reflectance and transmittance) to be used in the validation of modeling results. The proposed equipment will address our urgent need for instruments that can allow us to obtain such data.
