Researchers at the University of Waterloo have developed a novel "Critical Path Segments (CPS)" method for efficient project management. The CPS needs to be developed into a new software tool that can overcome the drawbacks of existing commercial systems. The proposed software targets project managements / owners /contractor organizations and professionals, particularly in the construction industry, who require simple yet advanced tools to support decisions related to meeting the time, cost, and resource constraints of single and multiple projects. This project involves undertaking an independent third party market assessment of the commercial opportunity for this novel Critical Path Segments technology in order to assist planning for follow-on commercialization efforts.
