Dick Engineering is a full-service engineering design firm from Toronto, ON, established in 1969 and serving the pulp and paper industry, industrial technologies sector and automation sector. Recently, Dick Engineering joined forces with an Ottawa-based engineer and inventor, Mr. Douglas Kane, to develop a novel bluff-body vibration based hydroelectric plant. To support the patent filing of this novel concept, as well as to aid the sizing of a future hydro-electric plant, rigorous scientific experimental results would be needed.
