项目摘要

Other Ocean Interactive (OOI), founded in 2006 has been successful in developing new game products for the industry's most established video game publishers. With its previous commercial emphasis on video games, Other Ocean Interactive's future business plan now includes focus on educational games to increase its own product line and its service to others in the serious games industry. During the 6 month period of January 2, 2013 - June 30, 2013, OOI will participate directly with four Holland College programs including Video Game Art and Animation/ Practical Nursing/ Paramedicine and Computer Information Systems to develop and pilot test prototype a "First Responders -Therapeutic Communications Animated Simulation" educational ITC platform incorporating serious games, 3D, simulation, animation and interactive multimedia techniques and technologies. This platform is intended to provide Other Ocean Interactive with new commercial serious games product opportunities by demonstrating application for colleges and universities to enhance in-class training and community outreach continuing education. While this initial endeavor focuses on health services, opportunities exist in the fields of police and fire fighting, metal and welding trades, wind and solar energy system installations, off-shore and land based oil and gas training procedures, and more.
