Problem and Hypothesis: The importance of protein-protein interactions (PPIs) to biology is reflected in the colossal efforts to study them on a large scale, including our own efforts, which resulted in a first description of a PPI network in vivo (Tarassov, et al. Science, 2008). However, like other efforts, ours captured a static map of the protein interaction network under a single condition. The general goal of studying PPI networks is to understand how proteins function as an ensemble. To achieve this, we must go beyond static maps of PPI
