The foaming of polyolefin geomembranes manufactured by Solmax International by film blowing will be investigated using an appropriate chemical blowing agent (CBA) without making significant modifications to the existing film blowing lines. This should result in an important reduction in weight of the membranes and a corresponding saving on the polyolefin resins used.
