英文摘要
Sustained release carriers for Bone Morphogenetic / Morphogenic Proteins (BMPs) are conventionally polymeric based, where the BMP is released as the polymer degrades. Loading of BMP into these polymers requires the use of organic solvents which can denature the BMP. The polymers themselves also have possible immunological issues and can cause an inflammatory response from surrounding tissue which impacts performance.
