V-ROD Canada is business partner with Pultrall Inc., the leading manufacturer of glass fibre reinforced polymer (GFRP) bars. V-ROD GFRP bar reinforced regular concrete is very popular in Canadian construction. Recently Company is eying huge prospects of the use V-ROD bars with high performance fiber reinforced engineered cementitious composite (ECC). The high strain capacity while maintaining low crack widths makes flowable fiber reinforced ECC an ideal durable material for construction. Given the worldwide demand for infrastructure systems, the potential application of ECC in construction is enormous. V-ROD GFRP bar reinforced ECC is an emerging technology. The implementation of such technology can enhance strength/ductility of structural systems and also solve durability problems associated with the use of steel
