英文摘要
The use of audio actuators has enabled a novel technology that allows the deaf and hard-of-hearing (HoH) to experience acoustic vibrations through a tactile interface. Tactile Audio Displays, Inc. (TAD) has developed an innovative technology and product, the Emoti-Chair that transmits audio vibrations through the seat and back support of a chair to allow the deaf and HoH to listen and experience music. These vibrations are generated in close proximity or physical contact with a person to "display" the sound through the skin by sense of touch.
