The applicant has successfully built a high energy (5 nJ), high power (150 mW), short pulses (<300 fs), high peak power ( 7.6 Kw), and small spot size (6 um) all-fiber femtosecond fiber laser prototype funded by I2I. Its output power is sufficient for biomedical imaging purposes. The prototype is used for two photon absorption imaging in the applicant's lab.
