The majority of the energy consumed by households is to heat, cool, light the home, or run the appliances. The traditional solution to reduce the energy consumption is to use a programmable thermostat, to make sure the lights or unused appliances are or that the chargeable electronic devices are plugged out before leaving home. However, a modern and more effective solution would be real-time monitoring and control of heating or cooling system and appliances in the buildings, from anywhere in the world with mobile or web apps. Active monitoring system provides a modern method not only to effectively reduce the energy consumption, but also makes reducing energy bills and helping the environment "cool" and very convenient.
