The interoperability between the electronic support and tactical communications is crucial for intelligence and electronic warfare applications. In this sense, it is important to devise software-defined platforms capable to sense the environment in order to perform an efficient jamming. To this end, the proposed project aims to investigate two promising approaches for sensing and jamming, i.e., time division multiplexing and dynamic access, by identifying fundamental limitations of signal identification algorithms when co-existing with jamming and by performing a trade-off analysis of key system parameters.
