The aim of this collaboration is to prepare spin-labelled compounds (SLCs) for NMR-Protein-Labelling Experiments on the serine protease Granzyme B (GzmB). We will work to develop new chemistry to gain access to these compound and provide viDA new methods to synthesize new SLCs. This project will also provide a basis for further collaboration with viDA to develop SLCs for their potential use in design and synthesis of novel therapeutics against other target proteins in viDA's pipeline. Through this work we will also train highly qualified workers for the Canadian labour market.
