Wearable devices such as the Fitbit and Apple Watch provide the opportunity for recording vital signs continuously, opening a number of ver exciting opportunities for important applications related to remote health monitoring. This could help doctors or other healthcare professionals monitor their patients and intervene when needed in a more efficient manner. In addition to this, many opportunities open up for self-monitoring and lifestyle improvement. As a first step towards this goal, our aim is to identify individualized biological rhythms based on the data collected by wearable devices. Such biological rhythms are
important in terms of achieving a healthy lifestyle. In order to do so, we will design algorithms to improve data quality as well as intelligent methods to identify whether a change (short term or long term) has occurred, which may affect the vital signs of a person.
