ATS Automation is one of the leading automation companies in Canada with over 3500 employees in 25 facilities across the globe. Many of ATS project involves systems that assemble various objects into one large complex product. One of the most used components in assembly systems are part feeders that receives a large quantity of parts and feeds them through channels to the next stage in the automation pipeline. Feeders are normally designed to handle specific type of parts at specific feed rate ranging from 60-200 parts/minutes. Reliability is critical for feeders since a jammed feeder can lead to the entire assembly pipeline to stop. Manu automation lines can have between 20-30 feeders.
