The company in question is working to enhance fabric structure to provide an enhanced feedback system for improved proprioception. Specifically, Lululemon is currently working to develop advanced materials that can incorporate different textures to target activation of subclasses of cutaneous mechanoreceptors. There is evidence that mechanoreceptors in the foot respond to different frequencies and forces to provide sensory feedback at different threshold levels across the foot sole. These mechanoreceptors are also located across the body throughout the hairy skin and are able to provide feedback of pressure, stretch, slips, and vibration. The objective of the current work is to investigate whether the addition of texture in a garment will enhance body
