This project studies the feasibility of spray drying a water-based organic fertilizer to produce a dry product format. This project has the potential to benefit the manufacturer of the fertilizer and also the end-users. A dry powder product would have reduced shipping cost, reduced storage space requirements and better storage stability. It is expected that this will reduce the product cost and that may lead to wider use of a range of soil improvement products.
