Lumican Corporation is a Canadian company located in Edmonton, providing full scale energy managementsolutions for office towers or large commercial building of 200,000 square feet or more to improve energyefficiency. Recently, the company launched the world's first LED amber street light and deliveredenvironmental, economical, and dark-sky-friendly solutions to street lighting. This LED amber street light canbe further improved by advanced secondary optics design. In the proposed research, we will carry outsecondary optics design to control the spatial and spectral distribution of LED light and to improve theperformance of these devices.
