Dental Strategy is partnering with Reactr at Fanshawe College to pilot an application (app) for training and educating dental offices and dental office staff on various topics such as human resources, project management, supplies and purchasing etc. There is currently no universal form of training or continued education available to dental offices and/or dental office staff. Therefore, most training and education must be learned from existing staff members or outside the office which leads to increased training and development costs. Dental Strategy has already invested in procedures and written material for training purposes however they would be able to reach a national audience throughout Canada with moving these materials to an interactive web-based platform which could be accessed anywhere. The application will enable dental offices/dental staff to move through training modules at their own pace with a subscription or fee for service model based on product purchase. Having training materials online and at their fingertips will enable dental offices and their staff to be more productive and take on more clients. The companies across Canada that Dental Strategy already serves will ultimately be able to produce better outcomes for Canadian small business needs.
