This project will develop new highly reactive metal based molecular tools for the controlled synthesis of complex molecules which are normally difficult to access, and in so doing advances our synthetic armoury. The design of the reaction pathways and final molecules will have relevance for modern medicinal chemistry and drug discovery programs.
